William Barr won’t recuse from overseeing Mueller probe

Following his confirmation last month, Attorney General William Barr would not be recusing himself from overseeing Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing Russia probe. While Barr is ultimately in charge, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is still the primary liaison between the DoJ and Special Counsel’s office.

Any good reason why he should? Mueller was an Obama toady who refused to investigate numerous cases of corruption within that administration. This is hardly the sacred cow the left wishes it was.

absolutely no need to recuse. Unlike Sessions, Barr was never involved with the Trump campaign.
