80 arrests at Sacramento police shooting protest

At least 80 were arrested Monday following a a protest over a district attorney’s decision to acquit two police officers who fatally shot an unarmed black man last year. Those arrested included a reporter from The Sacramento Bee. Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg said he was ’very disappointed’ over the arrests.

just to be clear: "As the demonstrators marched back to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, police began to disperse the crowd,  but a smaller group continued to a Highway 50 overpass where the arrests were made, KCRA reported. At least five cars were reportedly keyed."

On March 18 2018 at least 18 people were shot and 6 killed in Chicago in gang shootings. Where is their protest. Where is their sings? I’m sick of only reporting on criminals getting shot by cops. Let’s talk about a real issue for once.

I've watched the body cam footage. It took the D.A. more than an hour to present the findings of the 62-page report on the incident. The news outlet that initially reported he was "shot in the back" had to retract the statement, though they waited 8 hours to do so.

agreed. Its pretty transparent citizens of this country have no rights. a peaceful protest or march over police shootings.

They should return to the common law standards for use if force rather than the ridiculous standard adopted by the Supreme Court. Also equality before the law demands citizens and LEOs be held to the same standards for use of lethal force in self defense.
