Sacramento policemen won’t face charges in killing of unarmed black man

Two Sacramento policemen who shot and killed a black man last year will not be charged criminally in the case. Stephon Clark, 22, was shot dead on March 18, 2018, in the backyard of his grandmother’s home by police responding to reports that someone was breaking car windows on the street. The county prosecutor ruled that the officers fear that the suspect was shooting at them was legitimate.

The cops did nothing wrong. A suspect if breaking into three cars and one home, flees the police, gets cornered into somebody's backyard, and instead of coming out with his hands up, decides to bluff by holding his phone as if it was a gun. Guess what, if cops go around a corner, in darkness, and see the suspect they've been chasing, pretending to be pointing a gun ready to shoot them, they'll react with extreme prejudice, and justifiably so.

If you don't want to get shot by a cop comply if the officer is in the wrong you can file a complaint with the department after the fact. If you make any sudden moves they have the right to shoot you because they are humans just like us and in their line of work it is literally better to be safe then sorry. This is just another case of the media trying to make cops look bad and increase tensions between law enforcment and the black community shame on them.

Officers might be able to take the extra second or two these tards want, if black crime wasn't so pervasive.

Good. The cops were called in because he broke into 3 cars, and tried to break into a home. He fled the cops, invaded somebody's backyard, and in complete darkness, held his cellphone as if pointing a gun to the cops, trying to bluff his way out. Clearly not the brightest dindu, I'm glad the cops didn't get railroaded.

I feel like this is a sign of the biggest problem between police and “black communities”. These guys have a phobia of police, their is no attempt within the community to cure it, and instead they constantly reinforce it with stores and beliefs. This results in stupid shit, like them running from cops.

He was also suspected of being suicidal. There are way too many factors here that make the defense of this kid the result of only three things: 1) family bias, 2) racist assumption of 'innocent by skin color', and 3) bias against cops.

I'm surprised that the DA stood to the law and didn't cave to public pressure. Nice to see some morals left in California.

Good. They did nothing wrong. The suspect was out doing shit that gets people shot all the time. Never mind the cops, he's lucky a homeowner didn't plug his ass before they ever showed up.
