The House of Representatives passed legislation on Wednesday to prevent a president from ordering broad bans on travel into the US. The chamber voted 218 to 208 in support of the bill, referred to as the No Ban Act, with one Republican joining all House Democrats. If enacted, it aims to limit the president’s ability to control immigration, place travel bans under congressional oversight.

It is one thing to stifle everything Trump did, but it is another to let the country get penetrated by people that want to do harm. If a terrorist attack happens, Sniffy Inc. will be on the hook due to actions like this.

That would require a constitutional amendment since that is where such authority comes from. Could someone send the democrats a civics book so they can learn how constitutional amendments are passed? They seem a bit confused.

Well this is going to be hard to do, but I think it’s needed. Over time the presidency has gotten a lot more powerful than originally intended

Do away with executive orders, or atleast limit them. Make congress do the job they were elected to do. Executive orders have become weapons of great power and completely bypasses the whole process..for rep and dems!
