Trump Administration Tries to take Gray Wolves off of Endangered Species List

The Trump Administration has recently come to the conclusion that the Gray Wolf populations in America have increased enough no longer be considered an endangered species and seek to remove it from the list. Wildlife activists disagree with decision as the species is still being hunted illegally and will be in greater danger if taken off the list.

The gray wolf is the undomesticated ancestor of the domestic dog and a highly capable predator. Ecosystems DO need predators to keep other organisms in check. Bringing the gray wolf to its original historic range and would likely mean it developing a presences in several neighborhoods across the country. If you are okay with that this, you would still need access to resources for communities to learn about the gray wolf and how to minimize tensions between humans and wolves.
