LaCroix maker’s CEO blames ’injustice’ for poor sales

CEO of National Beverage Nick Caporella had a novel explanation for why the company’s sales and profits are drying up. Caporella said that the weak quarter, with a nearly 40 per cent drop in earnings, didn’t stem from ’negligence nor mismanagement nor woeful acts of God’ but rather ’injustice’. While not elaborating, his comments seem to point to the class-action lawsuits over its labeling.
