Texas Representative looks to force verify crypto users

Texas Republican Rep. Phil Stephenson has introduced a bill-draft that would require Texans to identify themselves before they use crypto assets like bitcoin. The bill recognizes the blockchain technology as a tool that enables users to create financial aliases. If enforced, the bill would make a digital currency transaction illegal if the involved sender and receiver are not known to each other.

How would this be even remotely enforceable in reality?? Do they not understand the technology? Waste of lawmakers time to even discuss it

Only a matter of time before the GOV sabotages projects like XMR, ZEC, and XVG. Can’t have people moving money without giving Uncle Sam a cut.
