Ex-jihadist jailed for murders in Jewish museum in Brussels

French citizen Mehdi Nemmouche was sentenced to life in Belgium on Monday for shooting dead four people in a Jewish museum in 2014. Nemmouche, 33, staged the attack after coming back from Syria. The 12-person jury convicted Nacer Bendrer to 15 years in prison for acting as an accomplice. He was suspected of providing the weapon used in the shooting.

Before that the same Western government(s) armed and funded his jihadi efforts to topple Assad. This attack was heinous, yet is only a small taste of what they enabled in Syria.
