US Africa commander says Somalia troop pullout hampered anti-terror missions

US Africa Command chief General Stephen Townsend told the Senate Armed Services Committee pulling out most American troops from Somalia has affected intelligence gathering and hampered anti-terror missions in the region. Former President Donald Trump, in his final months in office, had ordered most of the 700 US troops, deployed to help local forces to tackle jihadists, to withdraw from Somalia.

Dershowitz is correct. The jury should have been sequestered from the get-go to avoid any chance of external influence or commentary, given the media and public frenzy involved. I believe on that alone Chauvin will succeed with his appeal regardless of his conduct and one's belief in his innocence or guilt.

Interesting that the ACLU didn’t touch this case. The appeal is already being written and the case will be overturned Bet on that
