Tusk to ask EU leaders to be open to a long Brexit extension

The chairman of EU leaders Donald Tusk said on Thursday he would ask EU heads of state and government to be open to granting Britain a long extension of Brexit. EU leaders are meeting to discuss Brexit on March 21-22. Tusk said he would ask for openness to this option in the run-up to the summit.

The UK need to be prepared to leave with no deal, or stay. This farce negotiation/capitulation has gone on long enough. Also if the UK stays in beyond March 29 they need to elect MEPs and go back on the EU presidency rotation, having a voice is better than May’s complete capitulation.
