Anger as Australian senator blames New Zealand attack on Muslim immigration

Australian senator Fraser Anning has been strongly criticized after he blamed the New Zealand shooting on Muslim immigration. Australia’s PM, Scott Morrison, said on Anning’s remarks that ’blaming the murderous attacks by a violent, rightwing, extremist terrorist in New Zealand on immigration are disgusting’. Former Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull called Anning ’a disgrace to the Senate’.

Don't mind me, just waiting for all the people that defended Ilhan Omar's anti-semitic comments to defend this person's free speech! While I'll condemn both!

Leaders should listen to their countries when they say they don't want Muslims coming in. There's a start. Not that it makes it ok to shoot up a mosque, but leaders should be thinking of their citizens first and immigrants second. Especially immigrants known for raping teenage girls in hordes and blowing places up. I bet that dude (edit to clearify: the shooter) was full of fear after seeing what they did to Germany and Paris.

its called the domino effect.... immigration of incompatible ideologies that create divisions in the population will create violence. United people stand decided they fall.... plain and simple even if a few people get butt hurt by the facts.

But that's exactly why he said he did it. I don't like it either, but I'm not gonna pretend that that wasn't his motivation.

His comments while completely out of touch and inappropriate, are not as wrong as the media is making out. Yes technically the large Muslim immigrantion is causing division, a lack of assimilation and corporation is going to make it worse. however, he should of focused more on our (Australias) failing mental health system. because that was a far bigger cause, the shooter was beyond unhinged.

well everytime there's a Islamic terrorist incident, western civilization or patriarchy or "old whitey" some how gets the blame. a white guy does it still blame western civilization or patriarchy or "old whitey". in England they have concerts , they stand "as one" holding hands with Muslims. this... hell no. is any going to stand with the caucasian community.

Is islamic immigration creating problems in the West? Yes, 100%. Does that excuse terrorism? No. Did it cause this instance of terrorism? Well... It could not have happened if they didn't immigrate, but direct cause? No.

Anning is a pathetic troll who is derided and loathed by most of Australia but the MSM keep running to him for quotes and boosting his profile.
