China says 13,000 Xinjiang ’terrorists’ arrested since 2014

The China government claims to have arrested almost 13,000 ’terrorists’ in Xinjiang since 2014. A government whitepaper said legal authorities have adopted a policy that ’strikes the right balance between compassion and severity’. The white paper said Xinjiang has faced a particular challenge since the Sep. 11, 2001, attacks on the US, as East Turkestan extremists ramped up activities in China.

If a quasi authoritarian state says they have arrested "terrorist", I am going to see some evidence that those people actually are terrorist!

China along with all powerful countries cannot be trusted. All of their govt's are extremely corrupt. They are probably doing what the United States does meaning: they kill, arrest, and smear activist who stand up to the wealthiest families which control the govt's. Or just educate people on the corruption. The world leaders have become so corrupt that we literally can't believe a word they say assuming their always scheming to get what they want by ANY MEANS NECESSARY including killing the own citizens. Thats not my opinion but on the record from declassified CIA and FBI documents. Wake up people. Ignorance is a choice!
