New DNA technology leads to arrest in 1999 slayings of two Alabama teens

A truck-driving preacher has been arrested for killing two teenage girls from Alabama in 1999, after he was found by the genealogy database techniques. Tracie Hawlett and JB Beasley, both 17, set off for a party in southeastern Alabama on July 31, 1999. They never returned home and their bodies were found the next day. Police on Friday arrested Coley McCraney, 45, in connection with the killings.
