Bereaved husband forgives mosque gunman

A survivor of the New Zealand mosque massacre, whose wife was among the 50 killed in the shooting, says he has ’forgiven’ the gunman. Farid Ahmed, whose wife, Husna Ahmed, was gunned down at the mosque, said he would give accused killer ’a hug’ if he could. ’He got it wrong. But maybe he was hurt’, Farid said in a reference to the killer.

That’s a good human being there- I hope he finds peace, all the families I hope find peace. God bless.

Forgiveness is powerful after a tragedy. This man is right, the shooter soul was hurting.
