Venezuela opposition takes control of diplomatic properties in US

Representatives of Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido have taken control of three of the country’s diplomatic properties in the US. The envoy said they had gained control of two buildings belonging to Venezuela’s defense ministry in Washington and one consular building in New York. He added that they expect to take control of Venezuela’s embassy in Washington ’in the days to come’.

The Chinese prop up Maduro with injections of liquid assets, while the US lends diplomatic legitimacy to Maduro's opponents. The Venezuelan people will decide the outcome. Though it is likely China will back out as they're backing their horse with cold hard cash, and Maduro has a consistent track record for failure.
