’Meteor’ over LA turns out to be stunt by Red Bull

A ball of light that fell from the sky over Los Angeles on Wednesday causing a stir on social media wasn’t what most expected - a meteor. Instead it was a ’film shoot’ as the LAPD referred to and was being run by Red Bull. In honor of the Supermoon, Red Bull orchestrated an aerial flight above the city which involved three people skydiving in suits fitted with LED lights and sparking pyrotechnics.

"Three people skydiving in suits fitted with LED lights" wouldn't seem to create that effect, in my opinion.
