MillerCoors sues Anheuser-Busch over corn syrup ads

MillerCoors filed a lawsuit against Anheuser-Busch accusing its rival of trying to ’frighten’ consumers into switching to Bud Light with ’misleading’ Super Bowl ads. The lawsuit states that Anheuser-Busch spent as much as $30 million on a ’false and misleading’ campaign aiming to show that Bud Light isn’t brewed with corn syrup.

Bud (and MillerCoors) makes terrible beer, but damn. They've got their marketing on lock.

Why the lawfare? Why not send theMillerCoors knight to issue a challenge to Budknight? I see a good, old fashioned jousting tournament on the cards.

LOL As someone who has worked with one of those companies I find this hysterical! Also this is probably just a low-key attempt to get Busch out of the super bowls pocket. Busch currently has exclusive rights to the super bowl as a beer advertiser, that's why you never see Miller commercials during the game.
