Researchers: 1.5 billion Apple devices exposed due to AirDrop security flaw

A security flaw in the AirDrop feature of Apple devices could be resulting in users sharing much more than they thought of, according to researchers from Technische Universitat Darmstadt in Germany. Apparently, strangers can discover the email as well as the phone number of any AirDrop user nearby. All that is required by such users is to be physically close by and have a wifi connection.
