House prepares for vote to overturn Trump’s border emergency veto

The House will vote Tuesday whether to override President Trump’s first veto of a resolution ending the emergency he declared at the US-Mexico border. The House would need two-thirds of its members to back the veto override. This translates to close to 285 votes - a far cry from the 245 it gained when it was passed for the first time in the House.

I don't like the executive branch have so much power. Find another way to build the wall. Nancy Pelosi already said that Democrats would use a national emergency to get rid of all the by force in when and if they take power. AOC said the Democrats would a national emergency to force parts of her green new deal. Limit the executive branch's power.
