Obama tells freshman Dems to consider how to pay for progressive policies

Former President Barack Obama warned freshman Democrats on the cost of their sweeping proposals, urging them to focus on figuring out ways to pay for them. While Obama did not call out any specific proposals by name, his comments are seen as a note around the proposals including ’Medicare-for-all’ and the Green New Deal.

Obama - the neo-liberal corporate puppet president. The only thing he knows how to do is make the rich richer

From the guy who doubled our debt-to-gdp? Republicans were mocked when they asked how Obama's stimulus, ACA, and others would be paid for.

Obama... who recently described himself as a moderate republican. He blocked the public option to give us right-wing Obamacare. The Overton Window hasn't only shifted to the right, it's effectively broken. Med4all isn't just necessary, it's overdue. Just look at health outcomes in the US vs other industrialized nations with socialized medicine. They learned that shifting the profit motive from keeping you sick to keeping you healthy (preventative care etc) works better. Costs? Take a look at the "Big Five" health insurance giants' profits in the last three years, made primarily by denying care.
