There is a war for space, first trump declaring a space force then China starts sending probe to the back side of the moon. The moon is an operating base that is why he gave them five years because we can’t let others beat us there

Okay this I’m against. There is literally no point. We’ve been there. There isn’t much of a point to go back.

Sending humans into space is currently a waste of resources, we can learn more with satellites, robotics, and AI, at a fraction of the cost. This is a PR stunt, during Kennedy's space race humans were the only option, the computing power in your smartphone is far superior to the Shuttle. With the rapid advancement of computers, robotics, and AI, a space colony either on the moon or an orbital platform is a huge unnecessary function of space exploration. The more fiscally responsible plan is to invest more in unmanned exploration. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/robots-vs-humans-who-should-explore/
