Rand Paul says it is time for Congress to investigate Obama

Sen. Rand Paul said Wednesday that lawmakers should investigate former President Obama, suggesting that he could have played a role in the years-long Russia investigation. Obama reportedly was informed by the FBI in 2016 that the bureau was investigating Russian attempts to interfere in the 2016 election.

Now imagine if the same level of scrutiny were applied to the last Administration. You'd see CNN suddenly defending the imperial presidency. Good on Paul.

They should investigate. We can then find out that that rumor that Obama went to GOP congress leaders, including Mitch, to warn and have them make a joint statement ended up instead with Mitch politically strong arming Obama to remain silent.

Sounds expensive for an inconclusive case.

Rand Paul must be a racist... unless Obama comes out and admits that his white heritage is what corrupts him.

And on and on it goes. By the time we're done, no American will not have been in some way linked to Russian meddling.

Rand must have forgotten that Obama did try to address the issue of Russia influencing the 2016 election. He even sought out Mitch McConnell so they can coordinate their effort to combat Russia's meddling. The only reason why Obama and the Democrats did nothing was that Senate leader Mitch McConnell threatened Obama and the party for being biased against Trump and the party if he dare bring the issue forward. If Rand want to start an investigation on the people responsible for letting the Russians interfere in the election, Mitch McConnell should be the bullseye on the investigation for refusing to do anything about the issue and threatening the President for attempting to bring a major national issue forward. Hell, maybe the one big reason why Mitch refuse to publicize Mueller's summary is that he is also implicated in blocking Obama's effort to combat Russia's meddling in the election. The house should just subpoena the summary and read it out on the house floor. The Kentucky Fried Turtle is in way over his head if he think he can get away from the backlash.

Let’s just have a new rule where every single president is summarily investigated at the expense of the public.
