Pope explains ring kissing mystery; says he did not want to spread germs

Pope Francis has explained that he repeatedly withdrew his right hand as a long line of people bowed and tried to kiss it this week because he did not want to spread germs. ’It was a simple question of hygiene’, clarified a Vatican spokesman. Monday’s footage showing Francis repeatedly withdrawing his right hand as people tried to kiss it went viral on social media.

I get that, but there is a tactful and less disrespectful way for doing that. He looks like an holy asshole.

Somebody needs to hook the Pope up with some Lysol wipes

He is a liar and I'm unsure if he is even Christian at this point.

Do you get special powers from kissing the ring? Like will you be able to shoot wet spaghetti out if your fingers? Or maybe you can materialize peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? Do all the powers you get have to be food related?
