Philippine journalist known for critical coverage of Duterte arrested again

The head of a Philippine news website known for critical reports about President Duterte was freed on bail hours after she was re-arrested at a Manila airport on Friday. Maria Ressa, the award-winning head of news platform Rappler, was arrested on charges that she had violated foreign ownership rules. ’You cannot harass and intimidate journalists to silence’, Ressa said after she was released.

Well, maybe the fact that she’s a critic is secondary and she is guilty of a foreign land violations. Just look how corrupt journalists in media are in North America. I bet she’s guilty.

Those journalists are such snowflakes. Everyone knows it’s the US journalist that faced true persecution. I hear Trump calls them fake when every other story is about a controversy they later have to retract. But still. Trump should be a little nicer.
