Court finds California magazine ban violates the Second Amendment

A federal judge on Friday ruled that high-capacity gun magazines will remain legal in California. District Judge Roger Benitez cited ’individual liberty and freedom’, as he declared the law that would have banned possessing any magazines holding more than 10 bullets unconstitutional.

I like how they've changed the term for a standard mag, to high capacity. No, high capacity would be a snail drum or larger. Classic redefining of terms to push an agenda, just like in 1984. Congrats to California though and all the other states that this ruling will set precedence for!

Funny how it takes just one judge and one complaint to bring about this ruling. For all the boogie man talk about the all powerful NRA, where the hell were they in this story when overturning the ban proved to be so simple?

This is not good news! I find it sad a Judge has to step in and explain to citizens in government the idea that they can read the simply stated Second Amendment to the US Constitution, and still attempt to violate Citizens rights. You are borne with your rights they are not given to you by the government The constitution LIMITS government from violating rights it does not grant rights, that is why they are inalienable. What we need are some common sense education laws that will help keep citizens safe from tyrannical city and state lawmakers.

Sounds like they were bad shots, three intruders three bullets. If all you can do is spray and pray, good luck to any friendlies in the house.

Let's hope there are no more massacres at the hands of someone armed with assault weapons in California.

No true words were written:  California is a Democratic, blue trash state. Good to have some sanity injected into that state.
