Collins tells Barr to reverse ObamaCare decision

Republican Sen. Susan Collins is urging AG William Barr to defend ObamaCare and reverse an earlier DOJ decision. Collins expressed ’profound disagreement’ with the department’s decision to side with a district court ruling that found the Affordable Care Act unconstitutional. Collins told Barr that the administration should approach Congress with changes to the law, or seek to repeal it again.

As McCain was, Collins is a RINO.

It was never properly passed to begin with. It went through the House under budget reconciliation, patent trickery Dems were against before they were for it. Plus the feds argued it was legal under thr commerce clause and not a tax, something SCOTUS said was incorrect but tax powers are unlimited so it's fine!

Too late. Without the individual mandate (which was struck down already) the rest of Obummercare cannot stand.

I agree that there should be some kind of minimum national health scheme to help literal poor people, but Obamacare was not the healthcare the US needs. Government should be trying to make options more affordable for people to widen their options.

When California Democrats refused to defend the state ban on recognizing gay marriage, I said it would be appropriate if the Republicans got into office and did the same thing on gun rights. Yeah, I actually think this is appropriate.

Regardless of whether you want it or not it is unconstitutional...promote the general welfare already has some pretty big stretch marks but even that wouldn’t fit
