India anti-satellite missile test a ’terrible thing’, says NASA chief

As per NASA, India’s anti-satellite missile test was a ’terrible’ thing that created about 400 pieces of space debris that put the International Space Station at risk. NASA chief expressed his concern while addressing five days after India shot down a low-orbiting satellite in a missile launch. The Indian satellite was destroyed at a relatively low altitude of 180 miles, well below the ISS.

So india is making missiles to destroy satellites which potentially can create ton of debris orbiting the planet going high speeds that can damage or even puncture other satellites or vessels in orbit.... Good job India.

I love how RT has the shot against the US in the headline... What's funny is the US has been increasing military cooperation with India as a check to China, and we're regretting selling weapons to Pakistan as they shift towards China and flex their intent in Afghanistan... but RT takes the opportunity to shit talk the US.
