Caputová is an ecologist lawyer who pursues policy based on transparency

Zuzana Caputová has become the first female president of Slovakia after getting 58% of votes in the elections celebrated on March, 30th. Caputová is an ecologist attorney with almost no political experience, but a strong background of activism. Environment, corruption and LGBT rights were the issues that she mainly tackled in her first speech.

Slovak here, allow me to clarify something that might be missed by foreign fake news. To be honest, it was not because people voted for her, but mostly against her competitors: - super corrupt former minister of Justice under the 90ties pre-EU regime with ties to balkan Mafia. - founder of the openly fascist Party. - miscellaneous minor local politics leaders. considering the options, we have a repeat of what has happened in the regional administration elections last year. You do not vore for a candidate, you vote against one. P.S.: The fascist leader has been voted out of his Regional head of administration seat last year by the good people of the Banska Bystrica region. I sincerely doubt that People of Slovakia are concerned about gay-rights.

I don't care about LGBT rights. its Not a bad thing so long as identity politics doesn't play a part
