Puerto Rico governor tell Trump to stop the ’insults’ and visit the island

Puerto Rico’s governor issued a statement Wednesday slamming President Trump and demanding an end to ’insults’ aimed at Puerto Rico. Gov. Rossello accused the Trump administration of withholding federal money from the island’s storm recovery efforts. ’We are not your political adversaries; we are your citizens’, Rossello said inviting Trump to visit the island.

Yes, their government officials preventing aid to the masses and then blaming The Trump administration for it was a shame.

Anyone remember when the leader of Puerto Rico said the US didn’t send any aid...in front of the aid from the US?

3,000 people are dead in Puerto Rico. A US Territory whose people are US citizens. If this was happening in the continental US there would be immediate and unhesitating relief... no congress delays, no idiotic outright falsehoods by the president... unless there were some political, ideological sniping to be tweeted. Merely repeating the lies, yes lies, the president throws out does not make them true.

Scott, such a good little mindless drone you are, Donnie says $91 billion has been spent and you just blindly agree with him. $41 billion has been appropriated, with only a portion of that actually having been sent to Purto Rico. But Trump made up the $91 Billion as well as making up the fraud and corruption. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.politico.com/amp/story/2019/04/02/trump-puerto-rico-hurricane-aid-1247759

it's a country of crooks. every dollar should be audited while they are getting aid so it doesn't sit in a warehouse like the last time we sent storm relief over to those rats in Puerto Rico government.

We've seen levels of corruption reminiscent of the banana republics. Most of the top and mid-level officials should be charged with corruption. Their government makes Chicago look positively blameless.
