Debris from India’s test strike endangers International Space Station

India launched a test strike into space to destroy one of it’s low orbiting satellites. It claimed the debris would fall into the Earth’s atmosphere. However, NASA has criticised that at least 24 pieces of this satellite pose a risk to the International Space Station. India has not yet responded with any comment.

They show as much forethought about space as they do about sanitation in their homeland. Is anyone surprised that they make shitty decisions in space?

If it is damaged or the crew is hurt or killed you can bet they won’t be trusted to do anything in space ever again.
