Crenshaw ’confident’ of recovery after eye surgery

Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw offered a promising update Friday on an emergency eye surgery in his one good eye, saying it ’went very well.’ Crenshaw added that he’ll remain effectively blind as he recovers over the next month. Crenshaw had surgery on his left eye recently after doctors found his retina was becoming detached. Both eye injuries are related to the 2012 IED blast in Afghanistan.

I wish him.and his family the best. He's a genuine American hero who has done more for this country than nearly every member of Congress and the White House combined.

I have a friend who went through the same surgery a couple of months ago and today they are fine. Best wishes for his successful recovery.

I am not a fan of Crenshaws political games and many of his policies. But I do wish him a speedy recovery. There is a history of retina detachment in my family, so I know how scary it can be losing sight.

I hope he supports our withdrawal from the war that caused his injury.

You really don't have to write "one good eye". When you say good eye we assume it's one since we only have you know two.
