Over 80 killed in fire at Baghdad hospital housing Covid patients

At least 82 people were killed in a fire on Saturday at a hospital in south-east Baghdad that had been equipped to house Covid-19 patients. The fire at the Ibn Khatib hospital occurred after an accident caused an oxygen tank to explode. The government suspended key health officials for alleged negligence. The total number of people infected with Covid in Iraq is 102,5288 including 15,217 deaths.
