Facebook blasted as ’morally bankrupt liars’ by New Zealand privacy chief

New Zealand’s privacy commissioner slammed Facebook as ’morally bankrupt pathological liars’ as the fallout from the Christchurch mosque attacks continued. In a series of tweets, now-deleted, John Edwards blasted the tech giant for not doing enough to prevent the easy distribution of a video that depicted the massacre.

Cant believe I'm going to defend Facebook, but it's not their fault. They arent the reason for bad things happening in the world. If you want to talk about morally bankrupt people, let's talk about the New Zealand government who has destroyed liberty with glee while standing atop still warm bodies.

Dumbass is upset that Facebook's censorship efforts fail to meet an impossible standard. Pure ignorance of the nature of the internet, where nothing ever truly goes away. These control freaks can't be trusted with power.

Facebook is a shit show, but the way New Zealand is handling all of this, is a bit much. Literally latching onto anything they can point a finger at, "Its this things fault, it's that things fault, it's their fault!". There's a larger painting being commissioned here and they ignore it just to search for the small, emotional victories. Just like one of the articles stated, this is still fresh to them, so, I can sort of understand, but you lash out in the privacy of your home, not on the world stage.

Proof that the broken clock is still correct twice a day, even if for the wrong reasons. But these New Zealanders who are against freedom are crazy book burners.

NZ - that little Islamic island where sharia is enforced, freedom of expression is criminalised, books are burned, illegally spies on its citizens, and the leader wears a hijab and leads an Islamic call to prayer in parliament.

They couldn’t possibly be trying to cover something up could they? I mean they are trying awful hard to keep anyone from seeing anything on it.

It is funny to see NZ overreacting. Brendon Tarrant must really have struck a nerve. The islamist government of NZ seems obsessed with preventing people from seeing that muslims are not invulnerable and can be victims of terror, too. Terror can be repaid with terror. This seems to be a very uncomfortable truth for those islamiacs.
