Loughlin, husband and 14 parents face new charge in scam

Sixteen parents, including actress Lori Loughlin and her husband, face new charges in the college admissions scandal. The DOE announced Tuesday that a second superseding indictment has charged them with money laundering and conspiring to commit fraud. Each of the new charges carries a possible penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of at least $250,000.
