Venezuela accuses US of laying groundwork for invasion

US VP Mike Pence told the Security Council on Wednesday the Trump administration is determined to remove President Nicolás Maduro from power in Venezuela. Pence said they would prefer this through diplomatic and economic pressure, but ’all options are on the table’. Venezuelan Ambassador Samuel Moncada said his country is threatened with war by the Trump administration.

Let's take assassination and invasion off the table though, it didn't work for Libya it didn't work for Iraq or Afghanistan. Just let things work themselves out. America first not world police!
