Turkish crypto exchange CEO flees with reported $2 billion

A Turkish cryptocurrency exchange has gone offline and its CEO is missing, leaving thousands of investors concerned that their funds have been stolen. Thodex, the crypto firm, said its platform has been ’temporarily closed’ to address an ’abnormal fluctuation in the company accounts.’ Reports say Faruk Fatih Ozer, Thodex’s founder, has flown to Albania, taking $2B of investors’ funds with him.
