A World War II era US bomb has been detonated in a river in Frankfurt. Some 600 people were evacuated from parts of the city as bomb disposal experts got to work on Sunday. The bomb was discovered on Tuesday in Frankfurt’s River Main.
There are millions of undetonated ordinance all over Europe. There is a story like this every year.
That's alot of unhappy fish right there.
Huh, I thought they would excavate the bomb rather than Michael Bay it. Neato!
Imagine how many things are still there to find if this one was lying in the center of a city for almost a century.
They’re still finding torpedoes and bombs in Pearl Harbor
