Democrats trail Trump in fundraising

Donald Trump has amassed a substantial head financial lead over his Democratic rivals in the 2020 race for the US Presidency. The incumbent raised $30 million in 90 days. Bernie Sanders, who has dominated Democratic fundraising, was the only challenger to outpace Trump, raising $18.2 million in 41 days. Though Sanders more than doubled Trump’s pace, the leading liberal still lags by 40%.

Trump has the working class, Bernie only has the welfare class.

To be honest, this basically says nothing. Trump is the one Republican candidate. Most Democrats are thinking that the field of 19(?) candidates should be whittled down before they donate any money.

Not suprising that the wealthy want to help Trump who has only made them richer. It doesn't matter that Trump has more money because Bernie has the people.

If everyone is smart, everyone would vote for Andrew Yang. He is the only one with a voice that is trying to actually build America up by its people again. PLUS! He is the best investment you can ever make by contributing to him and voting for him. He can give you a guaranteed monthly rate of return of $1,000 for your entire life beginning at 18. Plus, if you take time to listen to him and see him interact, he is going to surprise you. - White Guy With Random Name

Bernie Sanders more than doubled Trump's take (18.2 in 41 days, versus 30 in 90 days), but if we learned anything from 2016, it's that neo-liberal corporatists will do anything to stop progressives from taking the party the way the Tea Party hijacked the Republicans. Democrat talking heads would rather prop up Trump than admit Bernie's popularity.

Trump is the incumbent. His average donor amount is probably near $1000. Bernie raised more than 50% of what Trump did in under half the amount of time. Bernie’s recent town hall proves that he has more support than the right let’s on. Fox also did a poll asking American Voters if the general was between Trump and Bernie who would you vote for. 47% for Bernie. 40% for Trump. 5% Undecided. 3% Don’t care. “Centrists” will be on the wrong side of history.
