Interior watchdog probes agency’s newly confirmed chief

The US Interior Department’s inspector general office has opened a probe into recently-confirmed Secretary David Bernhardt on several allegations, including conflict of interest. Bernhardt was confirmed by the Senate last week in a 56 to 41 vote. He replaced Ryan Zinke who resigned under a cloud of ethics investigations.

Spunds like the deep state strikes again. If they had a probe launched within days of his confirmation it's obviously a hatchet job by Obama loyalists. Not like enviro-nazis ever had trouble getting to Obama's Interior secretaries.
