A New Jersey woman who concocted a tale about a homeless man and scammed 14,000 donors out of $400,000 in GoFundMe contributions was sentenced to four years in state prison. Katelyn McClure pleaded guilty Monday to second-degree theft by deception.
Women don't lie. this is very confusing
Great now arrest all the damn politicians who make us think our taxes are actually being put to use.
All three of them were scammers.
Four years? She'll be out in less than two on good behavior.
just a hoax. 10k fine and a few hours of community service should be enough
4 years in a pound-me-in-the-#^% prison. Enjoy!
Now that's some justice.
She should have instead claimed to be the victim of two MAGA hat wearers...
And they can't even get the money back to the kind hearted donors who were scammed.
