Facebook used your data as ’bargaining chip’ against rivals, report says

A new report revealed Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg considered shopping user data to third-party developers in an attempt to evaluate the ’real market value’ of Facebook’s treasure of information. Zuckerberg reportedly mulled the possibility of negotiating 100 deals to sell data. The report is based on 4,000 internal Facebook documents between 2011 and 2015.

The only social platform (if you can call it that) I am on now is YouTube. Anything else I see as an invasion of privacy and offering up your own information for free to private companies to profit.
