Alumnus destroys $51,000 of college equipment using ’USB killer’ device

Vishwanath Akuthota, 27, used a USB device named ’USB killer’ to destroy 59 computers & several other devices with USB slots at the College of St. Rose on February 14. On Tuesday Mr Akuthoa entered a guilty plea; sentencing will be in August. Mr Akuthota graduated from the college with a MBA in 2017. Motives have not been made clear at this time.
