Facebook says that millions of Instagram users passwords stored insecurely

Facebook announced in March that thousands of Instagram users passwords were stored in plain text. Thursday, Facebook quietly announced that they now believe the number of users affected to be in the millions. On the same day they also announced that they had been uploading users email contacts without their permission.
