Smallest baby boy will be going home from the hospital after six months

On October 1st, 2018, Ryusuke Sekino was delivered by emergency cesarean section over 15 weeks premature weighing only 258 g/ 9.1 oz. The baby’s mother Toshiko was suffering from hypertension. At the hospital Ryusuke was fed via tubes and drops of his mother’s milk until six months later when he weighed 3.4 kgs or 7.4 lbs. Baby Ryusuke is preparing to finally leave the hospital this Sunday.

I was making my meal and using 250g of pork. I looked at that lump and thought that's roughly the weight of this baby. Damn... Glad he's now going home and I hope he grows up healthy and strong. For some reason, I just want to munch on carrots tonight.
