20 Years on, Columbine survivors reflect.

20 Years on, Columbine survivors reflect.

Two decades after their lives were turned upside-down, survivors of the second biggest school shooting in the 20th century remember the attack, the victims, and the perpetrators.

So stop changing the definition of mass shooting to ever decreasing numbers

What do shooters mostly want? Fame. It's perplexing how media keeps giving it to them.

It's all about spin. Even self defense shootings that involve 3 or more people are labeled a "mass shooting."

The thing about this is that there’s no universal measurement of what a mass shooting is. There’s about 3 different versions that drastically change the amounts. The first used by the FBI only counts victims killed (if I remember correctly) the second one counts wounded and killed. And the third includes the shooter into the account. And all have different amounts of people needed for a shooting to be considered a mass shooting. School shootings as well are drastically sckewed. A guy could commit suicide in a school parking lot at night and it can be considered a school shooting.

Well this headline is just a blatant lie. I'd like them to name the 365 mass shootings we had last year. I'll wait.

Garafraxis 1 year

365 a year? Really. Sipping too much espresso methinks. You undermine any sensible argument with hyperbole. But I guess that’s what lefties do. Poor fuckwits. They can’t help themselves.

Midgetelf 1 year

By the very lax definition given. Not by the common-sense definition in people's minds You kill your family, or do a gang related drive by, its a mass shooting, even if those were directed murders to specific targets and not intended to take out the biggest number of lives possible. This really should be re-defined. Fear mongering pisses me off.

Today was a sad day RIP for those who died in this terrible massacre.

Taking guns away from law abiding citizens because a crazy person used one, is like outlawing alcohol because one person went drinking and driving. Alcohol kills more people than guns but I dont here the protests to ban it.

CoolerKing 1 year

and still even more people die per day due to distracted driving... now what?

Dustin Pruitt

Mass shooting= someone shot a gun Mass shooting does not equal mass death Mass shooting could mean people are shot

Lies, Damn Lies, & Media. (How about you stop counting figures of some random guy killing himself in his home, who lives 6 blocks from an abandoned school...as a school shooting!) That's barely hyperbole, btw. Most of that statement is an actual count of "school shooting"!
