Giuliani claims ’There’s nothing wrong with taking information from Russians.’

In a CNN interview, Rudy Giuliani claimed that the Trump campaign’s attempt to get political assistance from agents of the Russian government was legal, saying it’s okay to use information stolen by adversarial foreign governments to benefit a presidential candidacy, and that, ’it depends on the stolen material.’ He went on to point out that many American politicians have done this.

Yes, because believe it or not, people from different countries talk to each other. I know that's a difficult concept to grasp, but that's the way it is.

So, Guiliani is saying that the Muller report is correct in its documentation of contact with Russian spies, and that is doesn't matter? See, it makes it hard to deny that you did things when your lawyer is like, "of course he did, so?"

I hope historians are documenting this glorious spin control that seems to be happening. the next Democrat that gets in office can basically do whatever the hell he wants and just say well Trump did it

Any politician would take a meeting with someone thought might have information about their opponent. No one from Trumps received or acted on any information. It was more like "random Russian, we have information on Clinton and would like to help" and everyone declining the assistance. Compare that with Clinton's paying a British spy to get info from the Russians getting it an using that information. Who is the real crook? As far as obstruction goes again I ask if you were falsely accused of this conclusion wouldn't you float and seek out ways you could deal with it. No actions were taken only discussion. You might say he ordered X to do something and X didn't do it. Good so he selected good people that were smart enough and given the freedom to act independently on his behalf good for them and Trump.

Does Wikipedia get info from Russian sources? I shudder at the idea my geography report may be tainted by Russian hackers who lied about the correct spelling of St Petersburg.

Remember that Trump said collusion wasn't a crime? He's right.

In this case it seems like the Russians would be protected under whistleblower laws. After all the information leaked was about collusion by the DNC and Hilery campaign against another Domocratic canidate. If Trump was not the beneficiary we would have seen this as a positive leak protecting democracy and the American people against the corrupt political elite class.
