Google employees reportedly say they faced retaliation for organizing walkout

Meredith Whittaker, the head of Google’s Open Research, and Claire Stapleton, a marketing manager at YouTube, say they were told their roles would change several months after the walkout. Google said the moves were part of routine staffing changes.

Working at Google is not a civil right. Corporations are not democratic institutions. These employees are lucky to still have their jobs. I can't believe that they have the temerity to complain. I hope Google fires these employees for disruptive behavior.
