Sanders says convicts including the Boston bomber should be able to vote

Sen. Bernie Sanders argued Monday that all prisoners, including domestic terrorists such as the Boston Marathon bomber, should have the right to vote while they are incarcerated. Earlier this month, Sanders called for more states to join Vermont and Maine in allowing imprisoned felons to vote.

I think he’s right. Denying the vote to anyone is a slippery slope. Just as the 13th amendment allows forced unpaid labor (slavery) if convicted of a crime. The scumbags of this world have used these two policies to tilt the political table towards control by the few and to continue de facto slavery. The two are connected. No one in their right minds should support the denial of anyone’s civil rights no matter how much we dislike or disagree with them.
