Duterte threatens ’war’ against Canada over trash shipped to Philippines

Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday threatened to ’declare war’ against Canada within the next week if the country failed to remove tons of garbage previously shipped to Manila. ’Your garbage is on the way. Prepare a grand reception. Eat it if you want to’, Duterte warned. Between 2013 and 2014, Canada shipped tons of waste to the Philippines.

What the hell!? Fighting it for SIX YEARS! Super progressive Canada shipped their garbage to a less well off country full of POCs? How does this happen? How does teary eyed Trudeau let this happen without taking bold action?

Hypocrisy of the West especially if they're left leaning. Kyoto Protocol 3.0 Canada and China in the lead.

Canada is still polluting their water with sewage and hasn't taken back the garbage one of their companies illegally shipped to a developing country. They haven't cleaned up the mercury dumped in the 60s and 70s. If it's not carbon emissions they don't care and then it's only to collect a punitive tax from citizens while exempting large industrial polluters. Somehow there are still people who think the government cares about the environment because they invoke climate change at every opportunity.
