Japan apologizes to those forcibly sterilized

Japan on Wednesday passed a law compensating tens of thousands of people who were sterilized, often without their consent, under a government program that remained in effect until 1996. The program aimed at preventing the birth of ’inferior descendants’ included victims who were physically or cognitively disabled, or otherwise suffering from mental illness, or simply had behavioral problems.

Sterilization is one of the most horrible things I can imagine. Having your capacity to bring life into this world taken away must be truly horrible.

So much for freedom. Y'all acting like you know people who should be sterile but that's not your call. And it shouldn't be the government's call. Ya bunch of hypocrites.

Meh, half of our population could do with some sterilization. I don't think eugenics and dysgenics is well understood by most people and is still simply known as a title of a mean program. Face facts, you live in a eugenic/dysgenic system called sexual selection. Eugenics doesn't end because its uncontrolled. The real moral question is, who should we give the reigns to?

Forced sterilization!!! Im aghast, this is repugnant BUT that said i can think of a few countries where this should be implemented, such as wherever the bastards that attacked Sri Lanka are from and a few others
